Count things with a click

Counting things one at a time, people coming through a door, items of stock on a shelf, repetitions in an exercise set, is exactly what a tally counter is for, and this online version does the job without needing a physical clicker in your hand. You add named counters, increment each of them with a single click, and keep several of them running at once, all in your browser. It replaces the scrap of paper and the mental tally that always seems to drift.

Why multiple named counters help

A single running count is easy enough to keep in your head, but the tool really earns its place the moment you need to count several different things at the same time, tallying separate categories in parallel without ever losing track of which count belongs to which thing. Giving each counter its own name is what keeps them straight and unambiguous, and being able to increment, decrement and reset any of them means an accidental miscount is trivially easy to correct rather than a reason to start the whole count over from scratch.

Count without losing track

Everything runs in your browser, so nothing you enter is uploaded and the tool works offline once the page has loaded. There is no account and no server involved in producing the result, which is why it responds instantly every time.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I run several counters at once?

Yes. Add multiple named counters and increment each independently, which is useful for tallying different categories in parallel.

Can I correct a miscount?

Yes. Each counter can be incremented, decremented and reset, so a mistake is easy to fix without starting over.

Why name the counters?

So you can keep several straight at once, knowing which count belongs to which category rather than losing track.

What is it useful for?

Counting people, stock, reps, votes, or anything where a running tally is easier than remembering, replacing a physical clicker or scrap of paper.

Is my count uploaded?

No. The counter runs entirely in your browser.
