Estimate crypto mining profitability
Mining profitability depends on how much of the network you contribute and what it costs to run your hardware. This calculator estimates your daily share of block rewards as the ratio of your hashrate to the total network hashrate, multiplied by the block reward and the number of blocks mined per day. It then converts the coins earned to revenue at the current price and subtracts electricity costs, computed from your hardware power draw and your electricity rate, to give daily and monthly profit.
Your share of rewards is proportional to your share of the network total hashing power.
The economics of mining
Electricity is usually the dominant cost of proof-of-work mining, so the electricity rate and hardware efficiency largely determine whether mining is profitable. Rising network hashrate reduces your share of rewards over time, and coin price swings move revenue directly, which is why mining profitability can change quickly. This estimate ignores pool fees, hardware depreciation and difficulty changes, so treat it as a guide.
Make sure your hashrate and the network hashrate use the same units. All calculation happens locally in your browser.
Notes on these estimates
Because the mining profitability calculator runs entirely in your browser, you can adjust every input and see the results update instantly, with nothing uploaded and no wallet connection required. The figures are estimates based on the values you enter, so use current, accurate numbers for the most useful output, and treat the results as a planning guide rather than financial advice.

Frequently Asked Questions
How is mining profit calculated?
Your share of rewards is your hashrate divided by the network hashrate, times the block reward and blocks per day, converted to revenue minus electricity cost.
Why does electricity cost matter so much?
Power is usually the largest ongoing expense in proof-of-work mining, so your electricity rate and hardware efficiency largely decide profitability.
What does this estimate leave out?
It ignores pool fees, hardware depreciation and future difficulty increases, so real profit is typically somewhat lower than the estimate.
Why does rising network hashrate reduce profit?
Your reward share is relative to the whole network, so as others add hashing power your proportion of the rewards falls.
