Why generating the collection helps

Postman organises API requests into collections, and building one manually for an API with many endpoints means creating each request individually. Generating the collection JSON from a list of endpoints produces an importable file that populates Postman with all the requests at once, giving you a starting point for testing and documentation. You still fill in bodies, auth and tests, but the scaffolding, the requests and their structure, is done, which is the tedious part when starting from scratch.

Import, do not build
