A UPI QR code lets anyone pay you by scanning it with their payment app, no typing of your ID or the amount. This generator builds a UPI payment QR from your VPA (UPI ID), name, an optional fixed amount and a note, which you can download and display or share.
Why a QR beats sharing your UPI ID
Typing a UPI ID by hand invites errors that send money to the wrong person, and there is no undo. A QR encodes your ID, name and amount exactly, so a payer scans and the details are filled in correctly every time. Encoding a fixed amount is ideal for a set price; leaving it out lets the payer enter any amount, which suits tips or donations. The note travels too, so the payment arrives already labelled.
