Chart your maturity across areas

Assessing maturity across several areas is clearer as a picture than a list. This tool generates a radar chart of maturity across dimensions, so strengths and weaknesses show as the shape of the plot.

Why a radar chart fits maturity

Maturity, whether of security, a process, or a capability, spans several dimensions, and a single overall score hides where you are strong and weak. A radar chart plots each dimension around a circle, so a balanced, mature programme looks like a large even shape and an uneven one looks spiky, strong on some axes and collapsed on others. That picture communicates something a list of scores does not: whether your capability is well-rounded or dangerously lopsided. Seeing the shape is what makes the gaps obvious and prioritisable, which is the point of assessing maturity in the first place.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does a maturity radar show?

Maturity across several dimensions at once, so strengths and weaknesses appear as the shape of the plot rather than a single number.

Why a radar chart specifically?

Because it plots many dimensions around a circle, making an uneven, lopsided maturity visibly spiky, while a balanced one looks large and even.

Why does the shape matter?

Because a lopsided profile with one collapsed dimension is a real weakness that an overall score hides. The shape makes gaps obvious and prioritisable.

What is it useful for?

Communicating maturity to stakeholders and deciding where to invest next, by making strengths and gaps visually clear.

Is my data uploaded?

No. The chart is generated entirely in your browser.
