SaaS Cost Calculator
A SaaS cost calculator adds up what your software subscriptions really cost. Enter each service and its monthly price and it shows the monthly total, the annual figure, and a breakdown of which tools dominate the bill. The list is saved locally, so it becomes a running record of your stack rather than a one-off sum.

What it shows
Add a service name and its monthly cost, and it appears in the list with both monthly and annualised figures. The totals update as you add or remove entries, and a bar breakdown shows each service as a percentage of the whole, so the two or three tools driving most of the spend are obvious. The list persists in your browser between visits.
Why annualising each line matters
A 15-dollar-a-month tool reads as trivial and costs 180 dollars a year; ten of them cost 1,800. SaaS spend creeps because each subscription is individually small and monthly, so nobody adds them up. Seeing the annual figure per service, and the total, is what turns a vague sense of too many tools into a decision about which to cut.
Using it to control spend
- Sort by cost and question the top three: are they used by enough people to justify the line?
- Look for overlap: two tools that do the same job, or a feature you already have in a suite.
- Flag per-seat tools where the seat count has drifted above active users.
- Note annual-versus-monthly billing; annual commitments usually cut 15 to 20 percent but reduce flexibility.
Scope
It is a tracker, not an expense system: it does not import invoices, detect renewals or convert currencies, and everything is stored only in your browser. Enter costs in a single currency. For a lightweight monthly review of subscription burn, that is enough; for procurement and renewal management you need a dedicated tool.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is my list of services saved?
Yes, in your browser's local storage, so it is there when you return on the same device. It is not synced to any server or across devices, and nothing is uploaded.
Does it convert currencies?
No. Enter all costs in a single currency. Mixing currencies would make the totals meaningless, and the tool does no exchange-rate lookups.
Why show annual cost per service?
Because small monthly fees hide the real total. A 15-dollar tool is 180 a year; the annual view is what makes creeping subscription spend visible and gives you a basis to cut.
Can it detect renewals or import invoices?
No. It is a manual tracker for a quick view of monthly and annual burn, not an expense-management or procurement system. You add and remove entries yourself.
How does the breakdown help?
It shows each service as a share of total spend, so the few tools driving most of the bill stand out. Those are where cuts or renegotiation have the most effect.
