Generate event schema markup
Event schema uses the Schema.org Event type to describe a concert, conference, webinar or other happening, including its name, start and end dates, location and ticket offers. This generator produces valid JSON-LD that makes your page eligible for event rich results, where the date, venue and ticket information can appear directly in search and in dedicated event experiences. Structured event data helps people discover and attend your events.
Dates use the ISO 8601 format, the venue is marked up as a Place with an address, and ticketing details go into an Offer.
Promoting events in search
Event rich results can display your events prominently, including in event-specific search features, which drives awareness and attendance. Google requires accurate dates in the correct format and discourages marking up non-event content as events. For online events, the location can describe a virtual venue, and an eventAttendanceMode can be added.
Keep the markup consistent with the visible event details, include ticket offers where relevant, and validate the output after adding it. For recurring events, mark up each occurrence separately. All generation happens locally in your browser.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Event schema?
It is Event structured data describing a happening such as a concert or conference, including its dates, location and tickets.
How should I format the dates?
Use ISO 8601, with the date and optionally a time and time zone, such as a year-month-day followed by T and the time.
Can I mark up online events?
Yes. Online events use a virtual location and can specify an attendance mode, so the markup suits both in-person and virtual events.
Do I need ticket offers?
They are optional but recommended, as showing price and a ticket link in the rich result helps drive attendance.
What about recurring events?
Mark up each occurrence as its own Event with its specific dates, rather than a single entry, so each date is eligible for rich results.
