Product schema describes an item for sale using the Schema.org Product type, including its name, brand, image, price, availability and aggregate rating. The price and availability are placed in an Offer, and the star rating is placed in an AggregateRating, following the structure search engines expect.

Product rich results are among the most valuable enhancements for ecommerce, because showing price and ratings in search can lift click-through and bring in shoppers with clear buying intent. Google requires that the structured data accurately reflects the product on the page, including a real price and genuine reviews, and misrepresenting any of this can lead to a manual penalty.
