Generate review schema markup

Review schema uses the Schema.org Review type to mark up a single review of a product, service, business or other item, capturing the item reviewed, the rating given, the reviewer and the review text. This generator produces valid JSON-LD that makes your page eligible for review rich snippets, where a star rating can appear in search results. Stars draw the eye and can meaningfully improve click-through.

The rating is expressed with a ratingValue and a bestRating so search engines know the scale, and the item reviewed is typed appropriately, such as Product or LocalBusiness.

Using review rich snippets

Review and rating snippets are among the most eye-catching search enhancements, but search engines enforce strict rules: the review must be genuine, created by real reviewers, and visible on the page, and self-serving reviews about your own business placed on your own site are not eligible for rich results. Third-party reviews about a product you sell are fine.

Choose the correct item type and scale, keep the markup in sync with visible content, and validate it after adding. Aggregated ratings across many reviews use the AggregateRating type instead. All generation happens locally in your browser.
