Pull every phone number out of your text
The Phone Number Extractor scans a block of text and lists all the phone numbers it finds. It recognises a wide range of formats, including international numbers that begin with a plus sign and a country code, numbers written with brackets around the area code, and numbers separated by spaces, dots or dashes. Each candidate is validated by digit count, keeping only sequences of seven to fifteen digits so that dates, prices and ID numbers are not mistaken for phone numbers.
An option removes duplicates by comparing the digits alone, so the same number written two different ways is listed only once.
When extracting numbers saves time
Sales and support teams pull contact numbers out of emails, chat logs and pasted lists. Researchers collect numbers from documents for follow-up. Data cleaners separate phone numbers from messy free text before importing them into a spreadsheet or CRM.
Because the tool works on the raw text you paste, it does not need a specific layout, so it handles signatures, directories and conversational text alike. All extraction happens locally in your browser, so the numbers never leave your device.

Frequently Asked Questions
What phone formats does it detect?
It detects international numbers with a country code, bracketed area codes, and numbers separated by spaces, dots or dashes, validating each by its digit count.
How does it avoid matching other numbers?
Only digit sequences of seven to fifteen digits are kept, which excludes most dates, prices and short codes while covering valid phone numbers worldwide.
Can it remove duplicate numbers?
Yes. With deduplication on, numbers are compared by their digits only, so the same number in different formats appears once.
Does it validate that a number is real?
No. It identifies text that looks like a phone number by pattern and length, but it cannot confirm that a number is active or correctly formatted for a country.
Is my text uploaded?
No. Extraction runs entirely in your browser, so the text and the numbers found stay on your device.
Privacy & Security
Everything runs in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
